SMS program terms

  1. Program description. MatthewFlix is a private, invite-only home streaming service operated by Matthew Wallen (sole proprietor). By opting in you will receive MatthewFlix watch-party invitation text messages: automated watch-party invitations from the MatthewFlix service, each with a unique join link, and a one-time confirmation when you sign up. No marketing messages are sent. See About MatthewFlix texts.
  2. How you opt in (optional). On the MatthewFlix text message preferences page you may enter your own mobile number and tick an unticked box agreeing to receive MatthewFlix texts, or press "No thanks - skip texts". Texts are sent only to numbers that opted in. Consent is never a condition of using MatthewFlix, of getting an account, or of joining a watch party - invitations always appear inside the app. Numbers are never bought, collected from lists or shared.
  3. Message frequency. Message frequency varies (up to 10 messages per month), only when there is a watch-party invitation.
  4. Cost. Msg & data rates may apply. MatthewFlix does not charge for texts; your mobile carrier's standard message and data rates may apply.
  5. How to opt out. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text STOP to the number that texted you. After you send STOP, we will send one message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed, and you will no longer receive SMS messages from MatthewFlix. To join again, text START or sign up again on the preferences page.
  6. Help. If you are having trouble with the program, text HELP for more assistance, or email support@matthewflix.com.
  7. Carriers. Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages.
  8. Privacy. Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in consent are never sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or any other purpose. See the MatthewFlix Privacy Policy.
